Samriddhi Entrance Examination Readiness (SEER) Programme
Academic performance of students of Indian Schools in Oman has been exceptional with good number consistently securing top ranks in CBSE examinations. Despite this, our students’ entry into premier Indian institutions like IITs, AIIMS etc. has been comparatively low.
Getting admissions in these institutions requires a very high cutoff score in entrance examinations like JEE/NEET/NATA. It is important to note that students qualifying under open category pays very low fee whereas under NRI category the fees are very high and unaffordable to common parents.
Students without receiving competent coaching and mentoring can hardly qualify these exams as there is a gap between what is offered in our schooling system and skills required for competitive examinations.
The Board has taken cognizance of this situation of our parent fraternity, who despite their financial constraints, always aim at providing the best possible education to their wards. Accordingly, the Board is bringing out yet another initiative through SAMRIDDHI Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching, for the development of students and staff fraternity by collaborating with some of the top institutes in the field of entrance coaching in India. This is expected to bring awareness and to impart quality training programme for equipping our students with the knowledge and skills indispensable for cracking entrance examinations.
The salient features of this program are
- Highly subsidised fees.
- Reputed and well experienced institutes in the field of entrance coaching.
- Additional special scholarship of 50% reduction in course fees for top 20% meritorious students who will be selected through SAMRIDDHI Scholarship Placement Test conducted by the Board.
- The implementation programme will be monitored by the Board.
This program is completely optional and is intended to create awareness and to enhance the capabilities of students of Indian Schools in Oman. Parents are advised to take informed decision after going through the orientation program and trial classes of each institute and their prospectus.
